Life Crisis Services Helps Casino Employees, Others to Identify Problem Gamblers

Life Crisis Services is a part of Provident’s social enterprise division and has one of the nation’s oldest crisis intervention hotlines.  It also operated a 24-hour 1-888 BETSOFF help line for Missouri problem gamblers and their families and friends, funded partially by the Missouri Riverboat Gaming Association.

They provide training for casino employees and staff throughout Missouri to help employees spot symptoms of compulsive gambling and provide information that employees can pass on when asked.
